Jonathan Baylis has relaunched his website www.sobuttons.com, to celebrate the release of So Buttons #5, his autobiographical anthology series in which, much like the work of the late Harvey Pekar, different artists illustrate Baylis’s everyday musings, struggles and anecdotes.
Featuring a tribute cover to the first Kirby book Baylis ever read, Captain America #212, by Tom Scioli (Godland, American Barbarian), So Buttons #5 also includes contibutions from Noah Van Sciver (Fantagraphics’ The Hypo), Thomas Boatwright (Zeke Deadwood), Lisa Rosalie Eisenberg (I Cut My Hair), and Paul Westover (Woody After Hours).
