Killing the Grizzly, a new literary agency specialising in graphic novels, is currently embarking on a personal mission to get Ron Roach’s 900-page epic Armageddon Quest published.

For those unfamiliar with the comic (as I was), Armageddon Quest has taken Roach nearly 20 years to complete. The black and white graphic novel, which “chronicles the life of the Anti-Christ from birth to Armageddon,” has even received passionate thumbs up from the likes of Scott McCloud (read his review here), Warren Ellis and Unknown Soldier’s Joshua Dysart.

So when’s it out then? Well, currently it seems that nobody is bold enough to publish Roach’s eclectic opus, much of which was drawn on whatever came to hand. Killing the Grizzly has set up a Kickstarter page in the hopes that it can not only see Armageddon Quest to print but also begin an initiative to help other talented but unpublished creators “find readership through crowdsourcing and community engagement.”

GØDLAND‘s Thomas Scioli and Bill Crabtree have already contributed a splendid new cover for the giant-sized tome.
